Hi all, I'd posted this on a trailer posting over in the Equipment For Sale forum, but I figured I'd bring this over here in case some of you missed it...
Don't believe it??? Scratch the coating in 2 spots on your trailer, leave one bare, cover the other with Silver Rustoleum, and then dunk and use the trailer in the salt for a season and see which spot looks the best... You know which one my money will be on!
Good luck!

Now you might be thinking, "Well if it's galvanized, then it doesn't need paint...". But again, the coating is so thin -- and it wears over time -- the paint will help protect it better & longer.
"Silver Rustoleum paint is awesome for galvanized trailers! 1st, it makes them look brand spanking new!!! 2nd -- and most important -- the silver paint sticks well to the galvanized steel and will extend the life of the trailer by several years. My brothers and I do this on all our galvanized trailers that 'see the salt' and it works great. You can't do the insides, of course, but where you can put it, it protects and extends the life of the thin/delicate galvanized coating."
