After having my SeaChaser 17 for a while, I find I spend most of my time while fishing in the stern. Would like to mount a fishfinder aft somewhere, but not exactly sure where. One idea I had was use some closed cell foam or a bead of Marine Goop to make a seal around the lid for the starboard side bait box and mount the f/f to the inside of the lid. sender,light,ignition and ground

my friend just game me a yamaha tack
but the wiring is a bit different than the one i have
it has a green and a black
a blue and a black which I think is for the light
I am a bit confused :(

My mechanic is an old Arima dealer boy and says he has put dual batters in 17's beside the oil mixer with success but " he is never happy with the setup".
He says he can do it, but you can not use battery boxes or tie down plates, you have to simply use the tie downs.
